Special November ZOOM event: the film "A DECENT HOME" showing (November 10, 2026)

Our November 2026 ZOOM event will be a bit different than other sessions: AAMHO is hosting the showing of the documentary, "A Decent Home". It is 1.5 hours long, so discussion afterwards is totally optional since we value your time. PLEASE NOTE THAT I CHANGED THE DATE FROM WEDNESDAY, NOV. 11TH, TO TUESDAY, NOV. 10TH , TO ALLOW PEOPLE TO ATTEND CEREMONIES, PARADES, LUNCHEONS, ETC.

A Decent Home is a 2022 documentary film directed by the late Sara Terry that explores class, economic immobility, and the crisis of affordable housing through the lens of mobile home park residents. It was shows snippets of mobile homes in the 1950's and 60's (really fun to watch) then follows the efforts of one park in Aurora, CO, to save their park from being closed and demolished.

So make some popcorn, gather some friends in your living room or clubhouse, and host "A Decent Home" Watch Party! We can use the chat feature to make comments during the film, if you want. And then, we will spend a few minutes with your neighbors in AAMHO discussing how to organize your park residents!

Districts 5, 6 & 8 ZOOM Fall AAMHO Meeting (November 17, 2026)

All District 5, 6 & 8 AAMHO members and guests are invited to join Director, Hillary Greiss, Kath Noble, President and other board members at this year's Fall meeting on ZOOM on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 1:00 until 2 PM. Instead of the "Listening Session" we had last year, we will be sharing updates of what legislation AAMHO will be supporting and proposing in 2027 and other recent changes and additions to our future plans.

Need help using ZOOM? Let me know and I will send you the "How to Use Zoom" tutorial that AAMHO Board Technology Director, Jessica, made for our recent newsletter. It's easy if you have a smart phone or a computer or tablet with a camera built in.

The planning team will make sure that you get some valuable information and have a chance to ask questions about AAMHO's direction for the next year or two.

Haven't renewed yet or not a member? If you live in a MH park in District 5, 6 or 8 where you own your home but rent/lease the land, you may join at aamho.org. These 3 Districts include all of Gila, Navajo, Apache, Graham, Greenlee, La Paz, Yuma, Yavapai, Coconino & Mohave Counties. Whew! If you get this email, you live in District 5, 6 or 8! Registration ends on Nov. 12 so that AAMHO can get the ZOOM link sent to you. You may cancel before that date, also and possibly attend one of the other District's ZOOM meetings at a more convenient time. Hope to see you there!
