THIS IS AN AAMHO MEMBERS-ONLY EVENT!

By far, the great majority of calls for help that AAMHO gets has to do with problems with the MH Park Manager. Complaints range from lease issues, outdated Rules and Regulations, uneven enforcement of R's and R's, retaliation, poor communication, lack of transparency and utility issues when sub-metered.  Let's learn and discuss some important ways to make your manager your partner and not your adversary. Or at least, know WHAT you can do to manage life in a park with a poor or untrained manager. Or sometimes, how to convince your park owner to hire a better manager!

Managers are in a difficult position when  they are caught between. the owners and the residents. In the past, the "good old days", managers and owners were often the same person, which had lots of advantages and a few disadvantages. This no longer is the case, most parks are owned by corporations and owners are often  difficult to communicate with.

This month's ZOOM will be part presentation by AAMHO President, Kath Noble,  followed by plenty of time for discussion. A few rules:

1. Please, no manager names;

2. Give others a chance to speak;

3. This is a MEMBERS ONLY event. You can join for $3.50 a month so no excuses for not joining anymore! NO MANAGERS will be on this ZOOM so you can speak freely but let's try to focus on ways to IMPROVE relationships with managers and not just complaints. See you soon!

PS I f you need help figuring out how to access ZOOM, give us a call at (480)966-9566 and someone will call you back and help you. You do NOT need a camera (if you don't have one) to join. You can see all of us and even raise your hand to speak without a camera. You can also join us by phone.
